The beautiful land of Jewels, Manipur, has been affected by an unprecedented & scathing attack on innocent citizens by the needles of Suspicion & swords of Hatred, since the 03rd May 2023. Almost 60,000 people have been uprooted overnight and forcibly displaced to about 325 relief camps all over the state. 220 citizens have died in the fightings and killings of the mindless mayhem. The worst affected are the widows & children – Traumatised, dazed and bewildered.
The IDP families had to flee their homes literally with nothing except the clothes on themselves. The only baggage they carried was – Bagful of FEAR. We need to support these 10,000 to 15,000 families, who have been stripped Naked by the society’s Venom.
For the past 10 plus months, with nothing left to restart means of livelihood in the stark relief camps, the families need alternative means of livelihood & the children need to be supported in continuing their education.
Friends, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is one opportunity, where your compassion, benevolence will make all the difference to ensure that the children do not lose their path. If they are not supported, the place will become the most undesirably fertile fields of potential rebels in the North East.
